Carol Boland
Carol Boland is a published author and poet. She holds a B.A. (Hons) in Media Studies from Sussex University and worked as a freelance journalist in London before publishing her novel, Hostage, in 2002. Her first poetry book, The Overture, was published in 2012. Her latest poetry book is Coming Ashore (2018).
Carol has written poetry for over twenty years and has organised and facilitated many poetry workshops, both with adult writing groups and young people in primary and secondary schools.
She was editor of the Space Inside Arts magazine for nine years.
In 2014, Carol qualified as a Poetry Therapy Practitioner (PTP) with IaPoetry. She holds a B.Sc.(Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy and is a committee member of Irish Poetry Therapy Network (IPTN).
